Thanks for the information NoHaikuForMe. The network has 35 drivers and will take some time to go through. A good idea but with a couple of concerns to think about. The one that has given me trouble is hda driver.

So, I think it may be better to individually list each of those chipsets? For network, I am looking at taking a shortcut and not list supported hardware. Instead, developers magicgrpah a bug tracker to report problems.
